Despair is knocking

In the cold blackness of your silence
i wonder if at last i've found
Another who agrees with 

my opinion of myself?
It's been so very long
since i have lain curled here
where hope and healing dare not tread
and no One comes to redeem
an undeserving worm.

but if my recent words
and abusive distant past
have driven you away
