Distracting typo
It was probably just a typo when a sports writer used "nevermore" where he meant "never more." They don't mean the same thing, and are not interchangeable. "Nevermore than now" means "never again than now" - which doesn't make sense - not "never more than now."

I know, it's getting old now, and it's Kirk Cameron, for crying out loud. It's also still well worth any married person's time.
